Third Saturday Serve Fest

Being disciples of our Lord and Savior calls for us to extend a helping hand to our church family and the surrounding community.  Our Third Saturday Serve Fest provides you the opportunity to lend a hand by doing small projects for those needing assistance.  This help may include simple home projects, yard and garden clean up, visiting Seniors at area nursing homes, helping out at local non-profit organizations or other acts of kindness.

There are also projects here at Laketon Bethel that you may choose to assist in-some projects are on the "to-do" list here at the church while others are preparation for programs that serve the community.  Our Meals Ministry Program, which provides nutritious meals to families throughout the surrounding area, always welcomes new faces and appreciates the help in meal preparation.

    Serve Fest starts at 9 a.m. the third Saturday of every month.  We meet at Laketon Bethel for coffee, juice and donuts then select the project area to assist in.  All information concerning your project choice along with directions will be provided from an assigned leader and then we head out to serve.

For the month of May we will be working on the "honey do" list here at Laketon Bethel. 

So roll up your sleeves and come participate in a day of serving the community....it's not only a great way to help people, but it is a great way to build friendships as we work side by side.

Childcare is provided for infants and small children, older children are encouraged to assist with parental supervision.
